Mr. Tidiane Diouwara is a journalist by training, Swiss citizen of Mauritanian origin, holds a bachelor's degree in linguistics, a master's degree in information sciences, followed by several postgraduate courses in management psychology, sustainable development and human resources management . Mr Diouwara, holder of the title of journalist registered in the Swiss professional register (RP) and the International Union of the French-speaking press, worked as a journalist for several African and Swiss medias, was a press correspondent in the United Nations, and has held several important positions in various organizations. He was Director of Communications at the World Medical Center, senior consultant for the Wall Street Institute, responsible for sustainable development projects at the City of Lausanne, among others. He is a member of the Swiss section of RSF (Reporters Without Borders) and LICRA Vaud Switzerland (International League Against Racism and Anti-Semitism). Currently political adviser and independent consultant on the issues of integration of the African diaspora in Swizerland, migration and multisectoral development, he is the Executive Director of CIPINA. Polyglot, he speaks, besides French, English, Spanish, Arabic and several African languages.
